On May 24th, 2009, I was unfairly dismissed as Pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Concord,N.C. For the past one and a half years, the main thrust in my life has been "giving back" to preachers and pastors everywhere. This was the driving motive behind Sermon Outlines.org, Golden-Nuggets, and The Center for Expository Bible Preaching. I have given freely and from the heart with no expectation of anything in return. Now, through no fault of my own, the tide has changed and the shoe is on the other foot. I believe the good Lord is leading me into evangelism. So now I need for preachers and pastors to "give back" to me. God does open doors, but He also opens doors through people! This is not about money, although my income was brought to a halt. This is about places to preach the Word of God. I have pastored for thirty-one years, and I have many battle scars to prove it. I believe in my soul that I can help pastors tremendously. My heart's desire is to encourage God's people everywhere. There is no bitterness in my heart . Only love and concern for the people of God and His Church in these troubled times. I am willing to travel any distance God leads without any expectations, except to preach God's Precious Word! Some of my preacher friends have invited me to stay in their homes while preaching in their area. Therefore, no church is too small for this ministry. My desire is to preach without any burden to the local pastor. I have given to you and trust that you will prayerfully give back to me.
