THANKFULNESS: IT'S
PLACE
Genesis 8:20-22
The place that thanksgiving had in
Noah's life is most enlightening.
I. Thanksgiving should have first
place in our ATTITUDE
A. It is a
commanded attitude
B. It is a
conquering attitude
"EVIL AND UNTHANKFUL ARE TWINS THAT
LIVE AND DIE TOGETHER; AS ANYONE CEASETH TO BE EVIL, HE BEGINS TO BE
THANKFUL."
II. Thanksgiving should have first
place in our ACTIONS

appreciation to God.
A. Our
thankfulness should be proclaimed by our
worship
B. Our
thankfulness should be pronounced in our
walk

thankfulness should be published with our
witness

III. Thanksgiving
should have first place in our APPROACH
Psalm 100:4
Prayer and
thanksgiving are inseparable friends. See

A. Approaching
Him in thanksgivings will enhance our appreciation for
Him
B. Approaching
Him in thanksgivings will eclipse our
anxiety
C. Approaching
Him in thanksgiving will exhaust our
adversary
Conclusion:
A thankful heart is not only the greatest
virtue but the parent of all other virtues.
